On Sundays, the community gathers to give thanks, celebrate, meditate, pray, and hear the word of God. We seek a worship experience that speaks to both our heads and our hearts. We typically share in Communion on the first Sunday of each month, and all are welcome to the table. Children are always welcome in worship, either at the “Prayground” at the front of the sanctuary, or in the pews. The Prayground is an interactive space with quiet toys, books, and activities where all ages can feel welcome in worship.
During worship on most Sundays, our elementary-aged children gather for Sunday School with Joyce Haynes McCowan, our Minister of Faith Formation.
Wydown United Church worship services are provided every Sunday at 10 a.m.. and all are welcome. During the program year (September – May), we livestream the service from our sanctuary to Facebook, YouTube, and our website.
